Biography Dr. Arindam Pahari is a State Aided College Teacher-I in the Department of Sociology at Belda College, affiliated with Vidyasagar University. He holds Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and  Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). His academic expertise lies in the areas of Social Change and the Sociology of Education. Dr. Pahari has authored numerous research papers published in reputable academic journals and contributed book chapters. He has presented his work at various state-level, national, and international conferences, making significant contributions to the field of Sociology.
Academic Interest Dr. Arindam Pahari academic interests lie at the intersection of sociology, gender studies, and public policy, with a particular focus on the dynamics of gender, globalization, and social change. Dr. Pahari deeply engaged with themes in cultural studies and identity, especially how they relate to women’s education and social mobility in diverse socio-political contexts. Dr. Pahari also explore critical areas within medical sociology, environmental sociology, and political and economic sociology, examining how systemic structures impact marginalized communities.
